 HEALTH
Full time Registered Nurses supervise
medications, give treatments and continually monitor each person's
health.
NUTRITION
Breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks are
planned by a Registered Dietitian and provided daily.
RECREATION
A varied recreation program designed
for enjoyment and maintaining the overall goal of staying involved
within the community and family includes social, therapeutic,
and educational activities provided by a full time Activities
Director.
THERAPY
A therapeutic program is developed
for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Therapy
as prescribed by the participant's own physician or by a therapist.
SOCIAL SERVICES
A Licensed Social Worker provides
individual, group, and family counseling to participants and
families. Assistance in working with other agencies, discharge
planning and other supportive social services are also available.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to and from Buttonwoods
Place Adult Day Health Center, Inc. is arranged with a Massachusetts
certified handicap transportation service unless the family prefers
to provide transportation. |
